Increase limit of people who can be Ignored
This might seem a bit redundant, but I would love it if Anet would let us ignore/block more than 10 people at once.
Anyone else agree?

I would love to have it. Having to put scammers/leechers etc on friends lists to keep track of them was annoying for me.

Limits on friends list and ignore makes no sense to me.

If you have a conflict with someone and ignore him, why can't you remove the ignore after a few days or weeks? Everytime someone kept spamming me, I just ignored him for several hours and he never bothered to whisper again later on when I removed him from the ignore list.

My ignore list has been full for almost 2 years now, mostly by bitter rejects. The most annoying ones are those with multiple accounts.

This. Also, I doubt that ANet will bother to increase the ignore list without increasing the friend list first.

I wish I were so lucky.
I can give you atleast 3-4 names of people who pm me on a regular basis if I take them off ignore if it weren't against GW rules or w/e.
1 of those is a regular poster here and in my alliance.
And I have around 8 ppl who are permanent fixtures on the ignore list because they're the ones, who over time, just dont stfu.

Doesnt always work like that.
I have 7 people on perma ignore because everytime I take them off they whisper me. Ive had them on there for about 6 months or so now.
Even after a month of ignore I have tried taking them off and shortly after they whisper.
Increase would be great.

I wish that were true.
But there are some incredibly annoying people that think they are your friend, even after they know they've been on ignore for the past 6 months. It's especially annoying having creeper guys following me around (yay female?). There are certainly enough of them where I'd rather just "/ignore XX" instead of telling them to fkcu off and have to deal with spam regarding: a) their 12 year old questions about what was wrong with their behaviour b) immature rage.
It'd also be nice to have the Friends part extended, too. There's a lot of people I'm friends with that I can't put on my list and have to rely on them PMing me. I like keeping a certain portion of inactive people on my list because they were such good friends that I'd love to chat with them again if they ever sign back on.
oh...

Not freaking signed.
You guys need to stop being so incredibly sensitive, it's a video game for christ's sake. Put someone on your ignore and take them off in a week, done deal. Damn.
And if people care so much to wait for you to appear online every day of their lives, try dropping the pompous carebear attitude to make players even more sensitive than you hate you with such a burning obsessive passion. Although i seriously doubt that.

Read a guide to the internet and stop being a psychopath. If you have more than 2 people on your ignorelist, you're definitely doing something wrong.

Its not really needed, I don't meet ten people I want to ignore in any given week.
I find as others have said if you ignore someone for a day or so they go away for good.
Besides your larger list would just be clogged up with people who have no intention of calling you again and indeed those who have given up on the game, passed the account onto a family member and so on.
You of course would never know this so when the larger list was full would have no idea who to remove to add others.
I would prefer an accept list of people I meet who seem ok and who I wouldn't mind calling me again that would give me 3 lists of ok people to work with.
Guildies and associated guilds
Friends
and others I have adventured or traded with.
other improvements I am hoping for.
A couple more channels to free up general of some of the dross you could even have a trash talk channel esp for those who just want to spout garbage to each other.
Or you could make general chat have a proximity some of these people must be yelling really loud I can hear them accross an entire town.

I think the number of people you want to ignore would depend on the number of people you come into contact with given a certain period of play. If, for instance, you do 35 UW SCs in a week (5 per day, which isnt too high a number) and you pug those, you would meet a LOT more people ingame than you would if you spent a week just vanqushing areas and skill capping.
Just because something holds true for you doesn't mean its true for everyone else.

I've had ppl use trial keys just so they would be able to pm me after I put their main account on my ignore list. One guy made no less than 5 trial accounts so he would be able to bug me, and I had to add each and every one of them to my ignore list till I ran out of space. Yes, crazy psychopaths do exist, bitter long term hater do exist; and increasing the ignore list length is a decent way of dealing with it.

No need.
May I introduce you to the sentence:
"I am a gay male and I am feeling horny. How about it?".
Solves oh-so-many problems.
(And if they have a problem - you have a reason to report. Win-win!)

What if they don't? O.O

IF on the other hand you have a sneaky suspicion that that guy might actually be gay - then you are lesbian having her period.
Also horny.
Must I think of EVERYTHING myself?
